DSI Status Alerts are short text messages about the running of this website: when an update is published, when a check finds a problem, and when a task the owner started is finished. They are sent from the toll-free number (833) 589-9335.
Who gets them: anyone with a US mobile number who signs up below and confirms with YES. They are site updates only, never marketing, and numbers are never sold or shared.
Opting in takes two steps. First, enter the number and check the box below; checking the box is required and is not a condition of any purchase. Second, we send one text from (833) 589-9335 asking you to reply YES. Alerts start only after that phone replies YES, so no one can sign up a number they do not hold.
The confirmation text says: “DSI Status Alerts: reply YES to confirm alerts. Up to 10 msgs/day. Msg&data rates may apply. HELP for help, STOP to cancel.” After you reply YES, the next text says: “DSI Status Alerts: you're signed up for site updates. Up to 10 msgs/day. Msg&data rates may apply. HELP for help, STOP to cancel.”
Sample alert: “DSI Status Alerts: the site audit finished, 0 problems found, all pages live. Reply STOP to cancel.”
The only things kept are the phone number, the date and time of opt-in or opt-out, and the alerts sent. They are used only to send these alerts. Mobile numbers and opt-in consent are never shared with or sold to anyone for marketing or any other purpose; Twilio sends the messages for us.
